Netflix fans are saying an underrated thriller crime movie is a must-watch with an insane plot twist.

But fans are praising one film that has gone under many people’s radars.

Directed by Shirish Kunder and produced by his wife, Farah Khan, the film stars Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead role alongside Manoj Bajpayee and Mohit Raina.
The film tells the tale of Sona Mukerjee (Fernandez), a devoted wife, whose world is turned upside down after her husband, Dr. Mrityunjoy Mukerjee (Bajpayee), is arrested for several murders of pregnant women.
Mukerjee believes her husband is innocent, he manages to convince her to take extreme measures to set him free.
Fernandez, who is a prominent figure in Bollywood, spoke with Cosmopolitan about her Netflix debut with the crime thriller: “The first time Shirish (Kunder) narrated the script, I loved the concept.
“He’s written a really fascinating script about a girl who has to overcome a very dire situation, and has to turn into a serial killer. And it’s something that I really wanted to do.
“Playing the lead is a great opportunity for me, and I wanted to get out of my comfort zone as well. Earlier, when scripts like these would come my way, I didn’t take them on because I didn’t feel like I was ready…”
Despite trending as number one on the Netflix charts in India, it remains relatively unknown to a wider audience.
Mrs. Serial Killer explores love and manipulation, with the lead character going to any measures to help her husband in his lies and deception.
Not only does the narrative maintain suspense and psychological tension to engage the audience, but the director also uses several cinematic techniques, making Mrs. Serial Killer a bright and visually colorful film.
