Netflix viewers can’t stop crying after watching an emotional movie, which is said to be the ‘best film ever.’
A heartbreaking film has pulled on fans’ heartstrings, claiming it’s a must-watch if you are looking for a binge-worthy movie, but also if you are looking for a good cry, too.
Viewers have raced to social media to rave about the inspirational film. One person says: “I’ve never given a movie a 10/10* rating before, and I’ve seen quite a few, including all the big-name blockbusters and the niche cinephile classics.
“Very few have made me struggle with the decision to call it a perfect movie; this one is the exception. I knew within 10 minutes.”
A second user writes: “Absolutely loved the movie. It’s a must-watch. I loved the narration, acting, and storyline.”
“This movie felt like one big warm hug. It had these amazing moments that tug right at your heart. I cried my eyes out throughout the movie, and when it ended, I had a big smile on my face,” someone else states.

The 2019 movie, which has recently been added to Netflix, is based on a 2008 novel by author Garth Stein of the same name, which spent 156 weeks as a New York Times bestseller.
The heartfelt film has a respectable score of 7.6/10 on IMDb, and it has reached the sixth most-watched film on Netflix currently in the U.K.
Critics agree it’s a touchy yet entertaining watch. The Guardian‘s Peter Bradshaw reviewed: “A film aimed with lethal efficiency at your tear ducts like Chuck Norris putting his boot into your kidneys.”
The movie follows Denny Swift, a Formula One race car driver who has all the talents on the racetrack, but struggles to navigate everyday life.

The racer is accompanied by his best friend, his witty and philosophical dog named Enzo is narrated by Academy Award winner Kevin Costner.
Enzo narrates the movie, which pulls in comparisons and metaphors between the challenges of life and Formula One racing.
It has themes of loyalty, companionship, and the impact a dog has on a human’s life, and is often compared to the hit movie Marley and Me.
The Art of Racing in the Rain, directed by Simon Curtis, also stars Milo Ventimiglia and Amanda Seyfried.

Ventimiglia shared with Entertainment Weekly: ‘I’m not one to be afraid of a role, and actually, when roles are a bit frightening, that’s where you can find the most truth in the character and the story because we’re pushing ourselves. We’re pushing our boundaries.”
The actor also added: “It was a very human story, kind of like This Is Us, where you have real-life stakes that were happening to this guy — his career as a race-car driver, his life with his family.
“It’s so deeply human, and the angle where you have a dog who happens to be an elevated soul and is watching his owner go through the trials of life, it felt like a unique story. It had magic without it feeling like it was trying to push the magic.”
Ventimiglia also revealed that he, too, was left in floods of tears after watching The Art of Racing in the Rain for himself
