Netflix viewers have been left horrified by an X-rated scene in a controversial TV show.
The platform has officially shared that a particularly risqué moment from a steamy drama has been replayed by at least 20 million viewers.
The revelation came as part of the streaming giant’s broader announcement that the series had been renewed for a second season.
The explicit scene soon took on a life of its own on social media, especially TikTok, where users began a trend dubbed the ‘episode 3, 20-minute mark challenge.’
TikTokers encouraged others to skip straight to that specific moment and record their reactions.
One TikTok user exclaimed: “The episode 3 minute 20 challenge of Netflix’s show got me good. Basically, if you haven’t seen the show, go straight to episode 3, 20-minute mark. You’re welcome.”
Another shocked viewer wrote, “Just watched episode 3 minute 19:50 on Netflix and wtf did I just see.”
“Just binged all in one sitting. Beyond phenomenal and relevant on SO MANY levels my God,” another agreed.
A further viewer penned: “Whew, just finished the first episode and holy hot damn! So good!”
The show quickly gained attention for its bold depiction of s**uality and full-frontal nudity. The series is based on 44 Chapters About 4 Men, a 2016 novel by BB Easton.
It centers around Billie Connelly (played by Sarah Shahi), a woman grappling with the monotony of suburban life and a passionless marriage to her husband Cooper (Mike Vogel).
As Billie reflects on her past and her tumultuous relationship with ex-boyfriend Brad Simon (Adam Demos), her present begins to unravel.
Though the show features numerous graphic scenes, one moment in particular sparked widespread online discussion.
During a gym shower sequence, Brad turns around, and the camera captures a full-frontal shot of the character, prompting intense speculation and debate.
Many viewers questioned whether the actor was wearing a prosthetic, while others simply expressed disbelief over what they had just seen.

Netflix also disclosed that the first season of S**/Life was watched by a staggering 67 million households, reinforcing its position as a surprise summer hit.
The Netflix series was canceled after two seasons. The first season premiered in June 2021, and the second season, which was the final season, was released in March 2023.
According to Cosmopolitan, the cancellation came just weeks after the release of season two.
Variety reports that the show was canceled due to the natural close of the storylines for the key characters.
S**/Life is available to stream via Netflix.
