Tom Holland has been in a serious on-set accident that rushed him to hospital on his highly anticipated fourth Spider-Man film.
Holland first swung into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Peter Parker in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, marking the beginning of what would become a career-defining role.
His portrayal of the web-slinging superhero quickly won over fans and critics alike, leading to starring roles in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).

Holland is currently filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day, a £150 million ($300 million) blockbuster that represents his fourth standalone Spider-Man film.

According to an East of England Ambulance Service spokesman, emergency services were called at 10:30 AM to attend to a patient who had sustained an injury at the studio, per Men’s Journal.
Holland reportedly cracked his head after suffering a fall during a stunt sequence and was subsequently treated for a mild concussion.
The actor was transported to hospital by ambulance for further care, with filming immediately suspended as a precautionary measure.
A stunt double was also reportedly hospitalized following the incident, though some reports suggest Holland was the only person injured.
The exact details of what went wrong during the stunt remain unclear, but the severity of the accident has led to speculation that it could trigger an investigation by the Health and Safety Executive.
Despite the concerning nature of the accident, Holland appeared well enough to attend a charity dinner in Mayfair on Sunday evening, accompanied by his father Dominic and fiancée Zendaya, The Nightly reports.
However, reports suggest he left the event early after feeling unwell, highlighting that his recovery is still ongoing.
Dominic Holland confirmed at the charity event that his son would be away from filming ‘for a while,’ though other sources suggest the actor could return to set within several days.
The production team, including Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios, are expected to meet to determine how to move forward with the £150 million production.
