Viewers Hooked On Gang Drama Labeled ‘Greatest Irish TV Show’ In History

A crime series has left viewers ‘hooked’ and is being described as the ‘greatest Irish TV show’ ever.

Set against the violent backdrop of Dublin’s criminal underworld, the show centers on Darren Treacy (Robert Sheehan), a man who returns to his hometown after a stint hiding out in Spain to evade the police.

Upon his return, Darren is confronted with devastating news: his brother Robbie has been gunned down by a rival gang, and his former flame, Rosie, has moved on with her life.

What follows is a descent into chaos and vengeance as Darren becomes entangled in a deadly gang war.

Social media has been abuzz with praise from viewers.

One fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “What a fantastic series! Only just discovered it – absolutely brilliant all ways round! Best thing I’ve watched in recent times since Peaky Blinders and Top Boy!”

A second said: “How has it taken me this long to watch??? Think I wanna be Robert Sheehan when I’m older,” while another chimed in: “Absolutely loving this at the minute, Robert Sheehan was fantastic in it.”

Somebody else summed it up by saying: “If you’ve never seen the Irish drama series then watch it – absolutely brilliant! Like Peaky Blinders meets Top Boy meets The Wire meets Breaking Bad and then some… A proper binge watch!”
