Fans can’t stop talking about an action thriller show that’s being called ‘better than Peaky Blinders‘
Peaky Blinders became widely popular worldwide for its gritty storylines mixed with complex characters, with its final season drawing in a record-breaking number of views.
For those who are missing the Shelby family on their screens, one series competes, viewers have taken to social media to discuss the crime drama.
One person says: Absolutely the BEST gangster series in YEARS..Bloody, fast paced, hard hitting…strong, believable characters….not for the faint hearted.”
“One of the best TV shows I’ve seen, a great, intriguing story like a mix between The Godfather and The Raid, and not to mention the best action I have seen for any TV show, period,” a second user writes.
“One of the best shows on TV. This show is even better than Peaky Blinders,” a third adds. “Hollywood needs to take notes from this show.”
The hit thriller currently has three season, with the first ranking in an impressive score of 8/10 on IMDb and 91% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Critics also agree it’s a must-watch series. Olly Richards reviewed for NME: “With a long wait until Peaky Blinders returns, there’s room for another lavish, sprawling crime drama and this barges its way into that space.”
The Atlantic‘s Sophie Gilbert wrote: “This exists on a fully realized plane of its own, where brutality is power, death is inevitable, and even the pigeons are on c**aine. I love it. I cannot get enough of this show.”
“It may be harrowing at times, but with its first-rate cast, clever direction, and incisive writing full bore, it’s always fascinating to watch,” Graeme Blundell said for The Australian.

The show’s official synopsis reads: “London’s criminal underworld is rocked by a shocking death, putting their delicate operation in jeopardy.”
The hit thriller stars an A-list cast, including Peaky Blinders‘ very own Joe Cole, Game of Thrones star Michelle Fairley, as well as Sope Dirisu, Lucian Msamati, Brian Vernel, and Narges Rashidi.
The show has been described as the most violent show on TV, with a death toll of over 100 in the first season, according to Digital Spy.
The amount of brutality has been a matter of controversy, with some viewers believing it’s too much for television.

Gangs of London creator and showrunner Gareth Evans has defended the violence.
Evans said to PA Media: “It’s individual tastes, we all have a moral barometer, I think if it’s not for them, it’s not for them, but there are lots of buttons on the remote control and you can always change channel.
“If you’re not into it, you’re not into it, and that has always been my approach.
“If I tried to make something that would appeal to everyone, it would appeal to no one. I can’t hedge my bets to make sure it doesn’t bump for someone.”
The show has been renewed for a fourth series on Sky, with filming expected to begin in January 2026.
