The Oscars red-carpet looks have gotten everybody talking, as the best and worst-dressed have been revealed.
The 98th annual Academy Awards are now in the books, and the red carpet has been walked up and down, serving as a catwalk for Hollywood’s A-List for another year.
But whose fits were award-worthy and whose fit belonged in a category of its own at the Razzies? Let’s have a look…
2026 Oscars red carpeted served some major looks
The ceremony, which took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, was televised by ABC and streamed on Hulu.
Following on from his rapturously received display in 2025, Conan O’Brien returned to host the show for the second consecutive year.
As you would expect from the most prestigious night of the Hollywood calendar, glamor was being served up full force by everyone who sauntered down the carpet. Although there were one or two misses along the way, there was a parade of blockbuster hits.
But before we reach the misses, let’s take a look at the hits.
Best Dressed
Emma Stone in Louis Vuitton
Always kills it, doesn’t she?
Emma Stone makes a red carpet look as easy as she makes acting. A relentless devotion to looking timelessly stylish and last night’s Academy Awards were no different, when the Bugonia star turned up in a classy Louis Vuitton gown.
Kylie Jenner in Schiaparelli
Without doubt, the biggest talking point, outfit-wise, of the entire evening.
Kylie Jenner, unsurprisingly, went big and captured the attention of just about everyone in the world with her eye-catching, cherry red Schiaparelli dress – a bombshell-esque throwback to the golden age of Hollywood.
Michael B. Jordan in Louis Vuitton
An absolute banner year for the Sinners star, who took home his first Best Actor in a Leading Role award and looked incredible doing so.
Jordan’s Louis Vuitton suit is guaranteed to be a look that is being served up on Instagram throwback accounts in 10-15 years’ time.
Nicole Kidman in Chanel
Arriving on the red carpet in signature style, Nicole Kidman stunned in a strapless nude dress embellished with feathers and shimmering crystals.
She always delivers, doesn’t she?
Teyana Taylor in Chanel
The One Battle After Another star didn’t take home the Best Actress award, but she still went a long way to stealing the show in a jaw-dropping Chanel gown that seemed to take on a life of its own.
Worst Dressed
While the Oscars red carpet is known for delivering some of the most glamorous fashion moments of the year, not every look hits the mark.
From confusing silhouettes to over-the-top embellishments, a few stars took risks that didn’t quite pay off. Here are the outfits that left us scratching our heads at this year’s ceremony.
Timothée Chalamet in Givenchy
Timothée Chalamet’s Best Actor campaign fell off an absolute cliff in the last few weeks, and, clearly, it affected his ability to pull off a red carpet fit because, well, what was this?
White suits really only belong on John Travolta in the ‘70s. This blank canvas fell very flat, sorry Timmy. Should have just come in the Marty Supreme tracksuit instead.
Demi Moore in Gucci
Demi Moore wore an unusual gown made from black and green feathers, complete with a dramatic sculpted bust. The look was certainly unconventional, but as always, she did look absolutely stunning.
Kevin O’Leary in whatever this was
Kevin O’Leary stepped onto the Oscars red carpet sporting a custom necklace centered around the famed Triple Logoman card, a rare collectible featuring patches from Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.
Valued at as much as $30 million, it was certainly eye-catching – though more for its price tag than its style.
